How do I find my DNS Server address?
Good question first – What is a DNS Server?
A DNS (Domain Name System) server translates a computer or domain name to the associated IP address, i.e. when you type in www.example.com it translates it into the IP address such as 192.0.43.10
To find your DNS Server address:
On your PC:
- Press the Windows button+r
- Type cmd.exe into the box and press Enter
When the black box pops up type the following line in (no spaces): ipconfig/all and press Enter
